Al Radley likes to write songs and learn music theory from YouTube.

As a child in Minneapolis, he perfected his guitar technique on a skillet.  He went on to a Mickey Mouse guitar and opened the Sunshine Theater in his neighbor’s garage.  Eventually he inherited his Uncle Buddy’s Gibson guitar.

That’s when he and his friend, Jim Tierney, started playing their guitars in the park.  Together they etched a future for themselves filled with music, chicks and fame.  There have been many bands, and many chicks, and fame is sure to arrive on Welcome Drive.

As Willie Nelson sings, “the life I love is playing music with my friends”.

Al currently lives in Bayfield, Wisconsin.  He now owns 14 guitars.  He has written about 122 songs.
